Umpqua Gem and Mineral Club - Building Fund

The Umpqua Gem & Mineral Club is working to get our club into a building of our own. This building will allow all club equipment and physical property to be consolidated under one roof. A future home of our clubhouse, workshop, museum, meeting place, and community hub. Currently, our workshop is located on a members property north of Roseburg. Our Juniors equipment is located on another members property south of Roseburg. Our show trailer, and the rest of our club property is in a storage facility in Roseburg. 

We are currently in talks with the Phoenix School on Diamond Lake Blvd, to combine our organizations. This partnership could provide a place for us to re-locate our workshop. It would allow our members to teach after school students lapidary arts and skills. The possibilities for both of our organizations are endless, and are very exciting. This partnership will allow us to expand our educational and philanthropic mission; allowing us to better serve the students and residents of Roseburg and Douglas County. Our mission will now be able to take place year round, rather than just one time a year.
